STEP 1

ABOVE THE BUTT, BELOW THE GUT

Position the Tractura® traction belt on your back as shown. Place belt in the lumbar spine region, above the hips and crossing in front in an X-shape, below the typical pants belt. Add belt extender (if available) at this time if needed.

STEP 2

ASSEMBLE THE DEVICE

Insert the adjustable handle into the foot peg by screwing it into position. Face the Tractura® logo on the foot peg away from you.

STEP 3

ADJUST TO YOUR SIZE

Attach the adjustable traction straps by clipping each one into the corresponding buckles on the belt. Make sure the straps are not twisted. While standing, adjust traction straps so the foot peg comes to your ankles (as shown). Press button on top of handle to extend and adjust to your height.

STEP 5

Place your heels down on the floor. Put the toes of both feet/shoes on the foot peg. Continue to lean back and apply pressure from your toes downward on the foot peg. The foot peg should not touch the floor.
Apply constant pressure on foot peg with both feet for 10 minutes or apply intermittent pressure for 15 minutes. Pain on one side? Try pressing down with the foot that corresponds to that side for a minute. Breathe normally.

OPTIONAL POSITION

For additional relief, try Tractura® lying down on the ground or in bed with calves propped up to achieve the correct 135° angle.
